I picked these Demon Red chilli’s a few days ago.
Some Demon Reds on the plants.
I just picked these just now. Demon Reds and one off the flat pack thai plant.

I cut most of the dead wood off the Demon Red chilli plants and repotted it for good measure.
The Lonely Hearts chilli plant is looking good.
So is the Bulgarian Carrot.

I sorted my greenhouse out and went on holiday. Here’s the growth and death after a week.
Purple Tiger chilli plant looking a bit ill before I went away.
A week later it’s looking quite dead.
The Demon Red plants are looking quite ill.
Even though it’s got lots of chilli fruit on them.

Just before I left I sampled my first home grown chilli of 2009. A small Lonely Heart chilli.
It was quite nice but not very hot, it had a slight kick.
The pretty Purple Tiger chilli plant started to look ill, on my return a week later it and others had died.
