All the Apaches are struggling, maybe elephant poo isn’t all bad

I have planted them earlier than recommended trying to get a head start.

All the others are doing well.

A Chilli NS 1701 chilli has sprouted in a peat pot.

The McSauce Pots have started sprouting with a Habenro Yucatan White chilli.

The Elephant Poo isn’t performing like I hoped it would

The Apache Chilli in the elephant poo doesn’t look like it’s going to be a competition winner.

I do have quite a few early starters on the go. I’m using lots of fibre pots with this batch as it’s so cold I don’t want to go out and get any plant pots from my shed.

Lots of new plants emerged today. I spotted this widger and dibber set in Woods Garden Centre in Berko today. I usually use a chop stick and a fork which causes my Doris some distress so I bought it and put to good use.

I bought proper plant labelling kit, so hopefully I will know what I’m growing this season.

These manky Peat Pockets have been outside going manky for months. I put them on the radiator and one has sprouted already.
