A generous shot of  White Rum or Cahaca mixed with chopped up chilli’s, castor sugar and lime juice. You can add crushed ice and drink it like this but I mixed mine with refreshing soda water as it was only 5:30 and I don’t want to peak too early.
Refreshing with a mild kick.

My new greenhouse heater, genius (maybe)

The theory is at night it adds warmth to the greenhouse and cools the beer. In the daytime heat it shouldn’t do much and as it’s insulated the beer should remain cool. The more beer that goes through the fridge the more heat it chucks out.

Last nights chilli margarita

Normally I’d leave the chilli’s soaking for at least a few days in my chosen bottle of booze, but last night I made one without soaking.

Some chopped chilli’s I got from Pho Cafe.

It wasn’t that hot but my lips felt it. I’ve had some soaking for 24 hours which I’ll try shortly.

I enquired where to buy them and was diected to Pages on Shaftesbury Avenue. They stock lots of catering stuff if that’s your thing. I liked my spice jars and bought some but this Margarita Salt caught my eye, you can’t buy these in Berko Waitrose.

You can’t eat them all in one go
